Unlike conventional input tools or keyloggers, Emoji Keyboard is designed with a zero-knowledge architecture. Specifically:
- We do NOT log your keystrokes: Anything you type into the sticky text area stays in your browser's local memory. It is never transmitted across the internet.
- We do NOT read your clipboard: When you click an emoji or the "Copy Text" button, the app only performs a one-way write action to your system clipboard. We never read or inspect preexisting clipboard content.
- We do NOT collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII): No names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or location data are harvested.
- We do NOT require an account: No logins, passwords, or registrations exist on this platform.
2. How LocalStorage is Used
We use your browser's standard localStorage solely to
remember your preferences locally on your current device:
emoji_keyboard_theme: Remembers whether you prefer Dark Mode or Light Mode.emoji_keyboard_recent: Saves a list of your recently clicked emojis so you can quickly re-use them.
* This data never leaves your computer. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's cache and local storage.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Emoji Keyboard uses zero advertising cookies, zero marketing trackers, and zero fingerprinting technologies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixels to track user behavior across the web.
4. Third-Party CDNs (Content Delivery Networks)
To deliver fast loading speeds and reliable emoji typography worldwide, this site utilizes standard public CDNs:
- Google Fonts: Loads the Inter and Noto Color Emoji fonts to display modern emojis and country flags.
- Tailwind CSS CDN: Loads utility stylesheets for responsive design.
These CDNs may process basic HTTP request metadata (such as IP address and User-Agent) solely for the technical transmission of static font and stylesheet assets.
